I am using XP Media centre 5.1 SP3 OS on my laptop.I am unable to access "Local users and groups" in the Computer management console. I am getting a message "Unable to access the computer #####. The error was: Invalid syntax" 7 people need an answerI do too

I managed to resolve the problem simply by copying a missing RASSAPI.DLL to the C:\Windows\system32 directory.I obtained a copy from the Service Pack 3 updates.I hope this works for you ... I discovered the missing file by trawling through sysinternals\procmon logs of the failure.
